Moorings

Moorings - Finding a berth

When you buy a boat from Walton Marine, we take special care to make sure that you are berthed in a marina that suits you and your boat. We want to make sure that you feel comfortable handling your new boat and the closer you are the easier it is for us all to help you out when things go wrong. Whether you are a first time buyer or an experienced skipper we will give you the advice and contact you need to get a suitable berth. We can arrange for a berth in any marina we have a sales office or at any of our local marina agents locations. If you berth locally, as you become more practised at handling your boat we are there to answer any questions that arise. Also as you wish to venture further afield we can point you in the right direction for overnight stops, passage planning, training and club cruising.

Moorings - Sales berths

Subject to availability, we can provide short term berthing on our own berths associated with each sales office. These are ideal for customers who want us to hold their hands for a season whilst the get their sea-legs. Berthing is usually cheaper than standard rates but we occasionally will want to show other customers around the boat or use the boat for a demonstration by appointment. You always have first call and your boat gets included in our regular wash-down programme.

We have good contacts with all the leading marina operators and special arrangements with marinas that like ourselves want to help you enjoy your boat. These partners have been tried and tested by our own staff and worthy of recommendation.
